Terms of Service

AICharli is a private AI assistant service. In these terms, "AICharli", "we" and "us" mean the operator of the service, [to be confirmed by the operator], with its address at [to be confirmed by the operator].

By creating an account or using AICharli you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You need an account to use AICharli. Give a valid email address and keep it up to date, because we use it to verify your account and to reset your password.

Keep your password and any API keys secret. You are responsible for everything done with your account. Tell us at once at mail@aicharli.com if you think someone else has used it.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account.

AICharli is a paid service. You pay for usage with credits. You can buy credits as a top-up in the billing area of the dashboard. Payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.

Prices and the hourly rate are shown in the dashboard before you pay or start a session. We may change prices in the future, but a change never affects a session you have already started.

Credits have no cash value. You cannot transfer them to another account.

Your assistant runs on a GPU session. Sessions are billed per hour at the rate shown when you start them. The paid time is taken from your credits when the session starts. The billing clock starts when your assistant is ready, not while it is still starting.

A session ends when its paid time runs out or when you release it. Your assistant is not available while no session is running.

We do not refund payments in money. Credits are returned to your account only in these cases:

• If a session cannot start, the credits you paid for it are returned in full.
• If you release a session early, the unused paid time is returned as credits.

This does not limit any rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you. If you think a charge is wrong, write to mail@aicharli.com.

You agree not to use AICharli to:

• break any law or the rights of other people;
• create or share content that is illegal, abuses children, or harasses or threatens people;
• send spam, malware or phishing, or attack other systems;
• try to get into accounts, data or systems that are not yours;
• overload, test the security of, or reverse engineer the service without our written permission;
• resell or share access to the service without our written permission.

AI output can be wrong. Check important answers yourself and do not rely on the assistant for medical, legal or financial decisions.

You keep the rights to the files, messages and other content you put into AICharli, and to the output you get from your assistant. You give us only the rights we need to store and process that content to run the service for you.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or if we must do so by law. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

You can stop using AICharli at any time. To delete your account and its data, write to mail@aicharli.com.

We work to keep AICharli available, but we cannot promise that it will always work without breaks or errors. GPU capacity comes from a third party provider and is sometimes not available. We may change, add or remove features over time.

The service is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. If you keep using AICharli after that, you accept the new terms.
